    Bubble Time

Syracuse down six as I speak to Villanova right now, well make it 8. Anyway, the Cuse are in trouble unless they can win this game today I think they are out. My Terps who many have have left for dead are not dead imo. They have 11 loses 5 of those 11 loses are to top ten teams. If they beat UVA today they are 8-8 in the ACC and would be 18-11 going into the ACC Tournament. They are set to play Ga. Tech or Va. Tech in the first round of the ACC Tournament. Either game they will be favored, my question is how do you leave out a 19-11 ACC Team? This MVC is a joke imo and regardless of what Maryland does I hope the MVC gets exposed hard in the NCAA's. Somehow, some of these experts on tv claim that even FSU doesn't have a bid locked up, yet the Big 10 and Big East can get everybody and their brother in? The ACC beat the Big 10 earlier this year in the challenge. Should be a fun week, I just hope that the Gonzaga's of the world win their conference tournaments so those leagues dont get multiple bids.

    Re: Bubble Time

i love the 2 weeks prior to selection sunday...not to mention the first 2 rounds of the tourney too

some teams i really like right now

    1. Southern Illinois - i just love the way they play
    2. UAB - gotta love how they compete
    3. Northern Iowa - they can flat out shoot the ball

some teams whom i think are slipping

    1. Syracuse - that's a pretty obvious one
    2. Tennessee - they were hot early but have kinda fizzled, ill be interested to see what happens in the SEC tournament before i pass judgement on them
    3. Duke - don't get me wrong, i still got Duke picked for my final against UConn, but with the team they have right now they shouldnt be losing 2 in a row...esp after starting out on a 16-2 run at home

    Re: Bubble Time

back to your original comment though...i think the MVC has some quality teams in it...however, i do NOT by any stretch of the imagination think they should get as many or more than half as many NCAA bids as the ACC...i think they get 3 bids...and i think ACC gets 5 and possibly 6

    locks for ACC:
    Duke
    BC
    NC State
    UNC
FSU (some could argue they gotta beat miami today or win in the first round, but i think theyre in...unless they lose both by a wide margin)

i think maryland might could sneak in if they get to the semis of the conf tourney and have a good showing there...but itll be cuttin it close

    Re: Bubble Time

How can you have this lovefest for Northern Iowa, yet not have them as "slipping"?

They have lost 5 outta their last seven, and they realyl arent that good.

They beat LSU early in the season, before LSU hit their stride.
